100K Poets, Musicians and Artists for Change
All-Genre Open Mic

Since 2011, 100K Poets for Change has been an annual world-wide happening made up of readings, concerts, exhibitions and other artistic events all over the globe on a designated day.

100K Poets for Change proclaims:
The first order of change is for poets, writers, musicians, artists, activists to get together to create and perform, educate and demonstrate, simultaneously, with other communities around the world. This will change how we see our local community and the global community.

Sept. 30, 2017 will be the 7th annual 100K Poets for Change global event

Our Bennington all-genre open mic means that poets, musicians, storytellers, actors, magicians, and artists of any persuasion are welcome to sign up to do their thing in the spirit of peace, justice and a more sustainable world.

The Particulars: 5 minute time limit; we’re all acoustic, no plug-ins: there will be a microphone and sound system; also an upright piano will be provided)

Doors open 7 for sign-up; performances begin at 7:30

*Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Bennington Meeting House
(One block east and a half block north of 4 corners where rts 7 & 9 meet)

Plenty of free parking on the street and in the municipal lot across the street.
