    Cat Lee, Candler NC summer resident, writes & performs from San Antonio TX. In 1978, Cat founded and ran a loft space/nonprofit in Boston until 1992, where she began exploring poetry as a percussive voice with jazz musicians—including joint gigs with true Beat poet/hipster tedjoans in 1986-87. “Jazz is my religion” ted spoke/sang his whole griot life, inspiring Cat to carry this legacy forward.   2. 2 PM Catherine Lee reads original works advocating social change on the subjects of mentoring San Antonio elementary schoolchildren at risk of failure; Dr. MLK’s legacy (see link to “Bankrupt” from 100 TPC 2014 below); prison labor; toxic spills. Musical accompaniment, both recorded and live TBA
