The Free Open to the Public Green Fair begins with Judy Gorman, singer songwriter who will rally the audience. Daniela Gioseffi will read ecological poetry and introduce accomplished speaker Cecil D. Corbin-Mark of We Act for Environmental Justice. Mr. Corbin-Mark has degrees from Hunter College and Oxford U. and served on the first White House panel for Climate Change, and with Gov. of NY State on a Blue Ribbon Renewable Energy Committee. He has spoken far and wide on environmental racism and climate crisis emergency. A speaker from Food and Water Watch will also be present, and there will be discussion with the audience after the presentations. The Green Fair begins with tabling by various groups on ecological issues, recycling, sustainable food production, climate justice literature, and there will be vegan refreshments available, at 1 PM, entry thru. 50 Monroe Place. Then two short talks are presented next door in the Unitarian Universalist Chapel on Pierrepont St. Corner of Monroe Pl. at about 2PM. There will be discussion with the audience about what is needed and what actions once can take to help save the Earth in this time of climate crisis emergency.Tabling in the undercroft resumes after the talks where attendees can pick up activist literature to help save habitable Earth from fast approaching Climate Catastrophe. “To save everything, we need everyone, now!” is the motto of the climate movement.
