One Response to Rock Hill, South Carolina

  1. Martha T. Robinson says:

Seven local poets read a variety of poems from Nikki Giovanni, Ezra Pound, Sylvia Plath, Kim Addonizio, Diane Pinckney, as well as their own poetry at the outside cafe at Earthfare in Rock Hill. Poets who read were Judith Barban, author of Poplar River; Julie Cook, author of Lemonade and Rumors; Barbara Hooley; Laura Lawless; Martha Benn MacDonald; Martha T. Robinson, and Donna Wylie. Despite traffic noise from cars passing by, the crowd grew to about twenty. Readers and listeners were thrilled with the opportunity to hear and read good poetry.
